EnVision

EnVision is a 4-session group study resource for churches, and other Christian organisations, that uses video, discussion, online materials, personal reflection and optional activities to help people understand more about God’s mission. The sessions are facilitated by a designated member of your group.

Helping the church connect across cultures with confidence

What is it?

EnVision is a resource for Christian groups who want to know more about mission and culture, and learn how to relate to those who are different to ourselves.

EnVision is also an opportunity for you to get a ‘taste’ of All Nations!

Who is it for?

Christians who want to know more about mission and how to relate to different cultures.

What Students Say

"EnVision made us really think about our own culture and then discuss how we differ from other cultures. We realise that our different ways are not bad/good, but just different. This has definitely made me step back and think about situations that I have had with others from another culture and reflect on what may have caused the behavior/comments that followed and give more space, patience and forgiveness."

"Really appreciate the 'Takeaway' material – allows each participant to read more if they are interested and have time. Thanks for giving opportunities to explore topics in more detail, definitely gave me something to get my teeth into and made it different to courses I’ve done before!"

"The course really gave me words for different cross cultural situations that have arisen. It also has helped me to be prepared for further situations that have and will come in the future."

"Excellent introduction to mission... Really loved the videos - short and concise and accurate"

God's Big Story | All Nations Christian College

How is it done?

The four sessions can be run:

  • as a series of weekly meetings

  • all in one weekend

Or whatever way works best for your group!

Group sessions can be run in person or using video conferencing.

The video resources can be watched individually in advance or all together as part of the group session.

How long are the sessions?

Online videos: You should allow 30 – 45 minutes to watch each session’s videos, including time to make your notes.

Discussion: We suggest you allow about 45 minutes for your group discussion - but the group is in control, so it's up to you!

Optional online activities: (in personal time) will take about 1 hour (for each session).

All times can be modified to suit your group.

How do we get started?

If you would like to get a group together to take EnVision, please ask your church or organisation to register with us by contacting: envision@allnations.ac.uk

Once registered, the person appointed to facilitate the course will need to familiarise themselves with the video clips and online material before getting started, so we recommend that you allow sufficient time to plan. This should also include time to meet as a group to discuss the course objectives.
