Our History

The story of All Nations Christian College began in 1971, when three missionary training colleges came together with a shared vision to equip people for cross-cultural mission and ministry. Since then, All Nations has grown into one of Western Europe’s largest centres for mission and ministry training, offering a diverse range of programmes, from undergraduate to postgraduate study, validated by The Open University.

Now based in Muswell Hill, North London, the College continues to build on its rich heritage, equipping and inspiring disciples to serve God and reach the nations.

A New Chapter in Muswell Hill

Following many years in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, All Nations Christian College has begun an exciting new chapter at Chester House in Muswell Hill, North London.

Our new home provides a welcoming and vibrant environment for learning, fellowship and spiritual growth. Situated within a diverse and multicultural community, Chester House offers fresh opportunities to connect with local churches, mission organisations and the wider community.

With students joining us from across the UK and around the world, our location reflects the global heart of All Nations and our continuing commitment to equipping disciples for cross-cultural mission.

Our Heritage: A Legacy of Faith and Mission

For many years, All Nations was based at Easneye Mansion in Hertfordshire, the former home of the Buxton family, whose Christian faith inspired a remarkable legacy of social reform and missionary service.

Members of the Buxton family were closely associated with the movement to abolish slavery, while others went on to serve in mission overseas, including Africa and Japan. Daily family prayers, traditionally held in the mansion's Main Hall, reflected their deep commitment to faith, prayer and service.

This rich spiritual heritage became an important part of the College's identity during its years at Easneye.

Although our location has changed, our calling remains the same. The values of faith, prayer, hospitality and mission continue to shape life at All Nations as we embrace new opportunities in Muswell Hill and beyond.

A Prophetic Prayer Fulfilled

In 1869, as the Buxton family settled into their new home, they received an encouraging letter from "Granny" Hannah Buxton. In her letter, she expressed a heartfelt prayer that the building ...

"... might ever be inhabited by faithful servants of God ... that Christ might be honoured and served there ... and that this place be a fountain of blessing to the church and to the world."

Today, we joyously celebrate the realisation of this prophetic prayer as we continue our mission to train and equip faithful servants of God who make a positive impact on the world.
