Creation Care & Christian Mission

This course explores and examines the reality, theology and praxis of the missional mandate to care for creation. This course provides participants with the opportunity to examine the biblical mandate for creation care, explore the key environmental issues facing humanity and the impact of these locally, regionally and globally, engage in in-depth biblical and theological reflection on these specific issues, and develop effective, contextually appropriate missional responses to them. The course is suitable for Christian leaders and mission workers wanting to develop a robust biblical mandate for creation care, deepen their understanding of the reality of the current environmental crisis, and develop practical skills and understanding to respond to this.

Those accessing Advanced Short Courses will be provided with relevant reading materials and other information to enable their full participation in the course.

ASC participants are not required to complete an assignment and will receive a certificate of participation on completion of the course.

Library Resources

All Nations has one of the finest mission libraries in the country with over 50,000 volumes as well as a wide range of journals and audio visual material. Free Wifi is available in all the buildings. For those studying virtually, readings are supplied by college online and any additional reading you would like from our library catalogue may be accessed by emailing our librarian.

Accommodation

There is accommodation available on site. We have a range of comfortable single, twin and double bedded rooms. Although our rooms are not en-suite, all rooms have wash basins. Baths and showers are located near each room. Towels and bed linen are provided. All meals are served in the college's cafeteria. Special diets can be catered for, please give notice when booking.
