All Nations’ postgraduate programme students finish strong in 2022

The postgraduate programme at All Nations Christian College has been a bedrock of theological and biblical mission and ministry study since 1992. With over 20 years of mission training, the postgraduate programme is building an ever-growing, transformed community of alumni, more equipped and empowered as a result of undertaking this rigorous learning.

The 2022 graduating cohort is the latest to join this growing band of postgraduate programme students and we are thrilled to share their academic achievement results. A total of 18 students graduated, two with PG certificates and 16 with MA and MTh awards.  What’s more, eight students passed with merit and six with distinctions!

This continues the postgraduate programme’s record of over 80% of students passing with merit or distinctions which compares favourably with national statistics.

Comments made by external examiners confirm the quality of the postgraduate programme, and learning achieved by students:

  • Student work is of a high quality and consistent with peers on comparable programmes in other institutions. The overall quality is generally of a remarkably high standard and this is reflected in a high proportion of merits and distinctions

  • The students typically demonstrate very high levels of thinking. They are particularly strong on contextual awareness and analysis. The work suggests a diverse and respectful learning community

  • Students demonstrated a strong understanding of the topics, with impressive skills in contextualisation of their theological understanding into different cultures and contexts

  • This continues to be an excellent Masters programme which is well taught and which offers excellent training in contextual theology

We were delighted to celebrate our postgraduate programme students’ achievements at a graduation ceremony on the 18th January 2023.
