What Students Say

  • Not only did the course equip me in walking alongside those who are hurting, but God bought healing to me through it too.
  • I have been so impacted by the way that good facilitation has been modelled, by the freedom I've been given to express creatively, and the tools I've been given to help others do the same.
  • This course opened my eyes and set my being in alignment with the Father's compassionate heart for His people.
  • This course created an opportunity to come aside and listen to God's healing words and feel his healing touch.
  • I learned how to lead emotional healing groups in a fun and expressive way.

What is the programme?

This course is delivered in partnership with Global Institute of Applied Linguistics (GIAL) and the Trauma Healing Institute based in America and fosters a holistic interactive approach, engaging Scripture within the healing process for people who suffer from the mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of trauma. It combines biblical truths with basic mental health principles expressed in ways that can be easily translated into other languages. This course will emphasize the importance of performing and visual arts in trauma healing.

Through this course you will learn to:

  • Address cognitive beliefs and emotions damaged by trauma, both in your own life and in the lives of others.
  • Use participatory learning methods to train local church leaders in ways that help them to become effective care-givers.

This is a "blended" course, with readings and assignments to be completed online prior to a 10 day intensive course of participatory classes at All Nations.
