Multicultural Worship Day
Who is the day for?
The Multicultural Worship Day is for anyone interested in learning more about multicultural worship and in particular the relationship between music, worship and culture.
We will take you on a journey to understand more about the importance of "heart music" and how you can identify with it.
We will help you understand the heart music of other cultures and how you can use this knowledge for the benefit of worship in your church or ministry setting.
This year we are pleased to be able to deliver the course in hybrid mode again, so if you are unable to join us on campus you can zoom into the sessions for the teaching on multicultural worship, song learning and resources.
What do the topics include?
multicultural forms of worship
global song workshops
multicultural worship discussions
global worship celebrations
Ian Collinge trains people in culture-appropriate music. He helps people to develop multicultural and intercultural worship. Ian is the founder of Arts Release a ministry of WEC International.
Jill is the Arts Programme Leader at All Nations and teaches modules in multicultural worship.
Together with members of Arts Release they will deliver the programme for the day.
