What Students Say

  • "This has given me a very helpful insight into the world of planning and management in NGOs. A wide range of topics too that have both addressed questions but introduced a lot of things I never knew I needed to know! It is challenging to hear from the experiences of others and very helpful to work through an actual example case study to design a project."
  • "It is incredible studying in such beautiful countryside within a stunning country house. It was great to study and share life alongside such a diversity of students from all over the world who were very down-to-earth and friendly. Discussing deep issues generated from the short course with my classmates late into the night was one of the best advantages for the interactive nature of the course and living on campus for a few days."
  • “A really enjoyable week. Great insights and training. Thanks!”

Community Transformation: Planning, design and management

15 - 18 April 2024

This course equips particpants with the practical skills and knowledge to plan, design and manage transformational programme interventions, and play a leading role in the agencies involved in this type of work in a diverse range of contexts. The course will be facilitated by Dr Mark Galpin who has extensive experience of development programme design and management, and leadership of faith based development organisations.
