Help us refurbish the heart of All Nations!

We have now officially started work on Maple hall! Scaffolding has gone up and refurbishment on the ceiling and lighting has begun. Our hope is that the majority of the work is completed by the time Autumn Term starts and students are welcomed back on-site.

Maple Hall was built in 1986 to make space for the expanding library in our main building, Easneye House. The internal fittings of Maple Hall are much the same as in 1986, but showing signs of age and wear. Careful stewardship of resources and repairs have kept furniture going despite heavy use for more than 30 years. However, many tables and chairs are coming to the end of their usefulness, and the carpet is worn through in places, with some trip hazards.

Maple Hall is the heart of All Nations  – the place where people meet for nourishment for the body, mind and soul. It’s also used extensively by guests attending day and residential conferences. It’s a place where the All Nations community comes together... read more


Funds permitting, the refurbishment will involve:

Carpeting                         £11K
LED lighting                     £3K
Suspended ceiling           £8K
Tables and chairs            £17K
Kitchen equipment          £12K
Decorating                      £2K
Contingencies                 £7K
TOTAL                            £60K (inc. VAT)
