A mixture of All Nations staff with a variety of expertise in both English and Bible Theology will be teaching this course.

English for Bible, Theology and Cross-Cultural Mission

This short course is designed for students and researchers wanting to develop English language skills in the context of Biblical, theological and mission studies. It focuses on developing reading and critical thinking skills needed for ‘de-coding’ challenging texts, listening and taking notes.

The course also includes the ‘productive skills’ of speaking and writing. It offers a focused approach to learning English, drawing on the renowned All Nations collection of theological and missiological resources.

English Level: Level 5/6 equivalent

Non visa applicants:  Required to pass an ACADEMIC IELTS test with an overall score of 6.0 at a UKVI approved SELTS Centre (with a minimum 6.0 for listening, reading, writing and speaking OR a score of 169 or above in the Cambridge Advanced Exam or a score of 60 or above in the TOEFL (IBT computer-based) English test.)

Visa applicants: Required to pass an ACADEMIC IELTS for UKVI test with an overall score of 6.0 at a UKVI approved SELTS Centre (with a minimum 6.0 for listening, reading, writing and speaking.)

    Non-residential: £280 per person
    Non-residential All Nations alumni / current student: £220 per person
    Non-residential cost includes course tuition and meals. 
    Non- residential takes the form of either physically attending the course, or attending the course via video conferencing using Zoom
