Multicultural Ministry with Arts

8th - 11th July 2019

This course will look at aspects of worship, the arts and liturgy in the context of our increasing global world. We will equip participants with the skills to explore how local art forms of various cultures represented in a given church, can be used to shape worship and liturgy that is appropriate for a multicultural context. There will be a focus on ‘ethnodoxology’ which will include ethnomusicology, visual and performing arts and research. We aim to help participants develop key skills necessary for the practice of creative leadership in a multicultural context.

All Nations has one of the finest mission libraries in the country with over 50,000 volumes as well as a wide range of journals and audio visual materials. Free Wifi is available in all the buildings.

We have a range of comfortable single, twin and double bedded rooms. Although our rooms are not en-suite, all rooms have wash basins. Baths and showers are located near each room. Towels and bed linen are provided. All meals are served in the college's cafeteria. Special diets can be catered for, please give notice when booking.
