This blended course is a partnership between All Nations and G.I.A.LGIAL, and fosters a holistic, interactive approach to engaging Scripture in the healing process for people who suffer from the mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of trauma.

 

The Arts and Trauma Healing course will begin January 2018.
 

This course combines biblical truths with basic mental health principles expressed in ways that can be easily translated into other languages. In particular, this course will emphasize the importance of performing and visual arts in trauma healing.

You will learn to:

  • Address cognitive beliefs and emotions damaged by trauma, both in  your own life and in the lives of others.
  • Use participatory learning methods to train local church leaders in ways that help them to become effective care-givers.

This is a "blended" course, with readings and assignments is to be completed online prior to a 2 week intensive course of participatory classes at All Nations.

 

Provisional Start Date ONLINE: 5th January 2018 (pre- reading)

Provisional Date at All Nations INTENSIVE: 4th - 18th April 2018

Completion Date: 2nd May 2018
