    BEng Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Plymouth), Diploma in Cross-cultural Mission Studies (All Nations), MBA (Open University)

    Andy studied engineering and worked in the helicopter and hydro-electric power industry in Nepal. After this, Andy worked in management consultancy and emergency disaster relief in DR Congo before coming to study at All Nations in 1997. After completing his studies in 1999 Andy left All Nations with his family and went to work with Tearfund in Kenya, South Sudan, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan, on a range of disaster mitigation and preparedness development programmes. Andy successfully completed an MBA whilst living in Afghanistan, combining the best of the business and not – for profit organisations.

    Since 2006, Andy has been based in the UK and leading three international charities, all of which focus on oppressed people groups, including those persecuted for their faith, children at great risk in urban contexts and those fighting for freedom of religion or belief. Each charity has required strategic and organisational development, the successful impact of  which has led them to acquire a strong and clear operating base, clear vision and direction for the future.

    Publications/Research/Networks: Vice-Chairman of Global Connections, Chairman of Medic Assist International, non executive director roles with Serve Afghanistan, One Rock International & Mahhaba. Leadership and advisory roles with the International Leadership Institute, the Religious Liberty Partnership and the Institute of Directors Oxfordshire. Ambassador for Viva working with children at risk networks. Published in ‘Faith & Thought: Conflict, Refugees and Religious Freedom’ (2016)
