Support Staff at allnations

First and foremost, allnations is a mission training institute but without the professional work of those supporting the teaching staff, this work would not be possible. Please see below for information about those helping make allnations work smoothly.

Rowena Biddlecombe

Finance Manager
Rowena joined us in July 2007 from Deloitte where she gained her ACA and worked with a wide variety of audit clients including charities. She is married to Jamie and they attend Cambridge Presbyterian Church. Rowena has a passion for South America, having been on a short term mission in Ecuador and having family who live in Argentina & Uruguay.



Michelle Byrne

Deputy Nursery Manager and Receptionist
Michelle joined the college staff in 2000. She works in the nursery as well as on Reception. She is a trained nursery practitioner in 'Early years care and education'. Michelle attends St Cuthbert's in Hoddesdon and is a youth leader there. Michelle enjoys walking, reading and playing pool (which you can enjoy in the college games room!).


Joo Hee Choi

Nursery Assistant
Joo Hee is a former student of allnations, having completed her Diploma in Biblical and Intercultural studies in June 2008. Joo Hee and her husband are gifted at encouraging and welcoming Korean couples as they come to allnations to study. They have two teenage boys who keep them on their toes!


Marlies Davies

Conference Manager, and Deputy House Manager
Marlies has been working at allnations for 7 years. Having worked in the Nursery for most of that time, she has recently joined the Enquiries Team, and is now also Easneye House Manager. This new role will involve developing and running our new Conference Facilities in Easneye House(Main House!). She is currently to be found choosing new carpets, sanding floors, painting walls and designing the conference brochure ...... When not involved on that job, Marlies is out, representing the College at various events. She has been out with the College stand to Jumiko in Germany. Marlies comes from Switzerland, and has been in the UK for 30 years. She is married to Peter, and they have 3 children.


Ann Dawson

Ann Dawson

Academic Registrar
Ann is married to Mike, and has one son and one daughter. She joined allnations in October 2005 with a wide background in administration in a variety of fields, from Cambridge University, via charity work and finally as Parish Administrator at her local church.


Victoria Dove

Nursery Manager
Victoria moved into the area from Cambridge with her ten year old son recently. She has worked in nurseries for over five years and loves working with children and hopes to carry on her training at NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education.


Martin Fannon

IT Assistant
Martin had a career in banking and then in 2000 went to be Principal of the Diocese of Mara Vocational Training Centre in Tanzania. This college taught office skills to young women many of whom then went on into employment. While there he also helped set up a Computer Training Centre and found local staff to run it. In 2007 the college was financially self-supporting and a Tanzanian Principal was appointed; it was time to hand over and he returned to the UK. He is married to Sue and they have two sons, Richard (33) married to Dawn and Peter (30).


Sue Fannon

Nursery Assistant
Sue was a Primary teacher and before going to Tanzania in 2000 she obtained a CELTA certificate as she was to teach English at the Diocese of Mara Vocational Training Centre. She is now working part-time in the Nursery.


Lizzie Habashi

Nursery Assistant
B.Ed. (Hons) Cambridge. Lizzie taught for nine years, first in Central London, then Manchester. She worked with 8 to 11 year olds, with English as a specialist subject. She then lived in New Zealand for a year and experienced working with younger children in an Auckland kindergarten. Following "The Hertfordshire Returners" with an interest in Foundation Stage, she joined the creche team at allnations in spring 2003.

Lizzie is married to Sherif, and they have two daughters, two sons and two dogs. She is involved locally with churches and The Alpha Course.


Angie Harris

Admissions Registrar
Angie has over ten years experience of working with students, firstly in Student Support at the University of Hertfordshire and currently in Admissions at allnations. Angie will do her best to guide you smoothly through the admissions process and give you all the information you need about our courses. She currently runs a homegroup with her husband and is a keen supporter of Tearfund.


Mike Hoodless

Premises Officer
Mike left allnations as a student last year, having met and married his wife, Ali whilst they were both studying here. We welcome him on to the staff now - and look forward to seeing how he directs and guides students on Maintenance!


Wendy Jenkinson

Facillities Manager
Wendy's varied career has stood her in good stead for becoming Facilities Manager with its diverse range of responsibilties. Wendy trained in hotel and catering management and worked for an international NGO - CORD in Mozambique and Zambia for several years in various roles including Country Director. She worked for a National Youth Organisation as Events Organiser for over three years before coming to allnations. Her hobbies include allotment gardening, walking and the countryside.


Christy Mullally

House Manager
Christy comes from the sunny side of Arizona, and has lived in the UK for a few years. She brings a breath of fresh air with her bright bubbly personality. Christy is also looks after our conference guests, dealing with residential conferences.


Kathleen Perry

Bookkeeper
Kathleen has worked at allnations for 5 years, coming to us from the commercial world. Kathleen has been a bookkeeper all her life, and is never happier than when the books balance. Kathleen can be very busy in the afternoons, talking to students as they pay their fees or look for travel expenses. She has a very warm heart, and cares for students needs.

Kathleen is married to Tony, and they live in Harlow. They have two children, and two granddaughters. Kathleen has been a member of Potter Street Baptist Church for 29 years!


Katharine Shaw

Receptionist, Short Courses Administrator, Enquiries Officer and Network Prayer Secretary
Having studied at allnations 1990-91 and 92-93, Katharine was delighted to return to College as Receptionist in October 2003. She enjoys meeting new students and welcoming old ones when they drop in to visit. Katharine also administrates the short courses, and rejoiced that we had 80 participants on the Islamics Course this December. Having met her husband Dave, at allnations (well some couples have to get together here to perpetuate the myth), they worked with AIM in Central African Republic for 3 years. The political and mission situation then deteriorated, and they never went back. Katharine and Dave have two daughters, and go to their local Elim Pentecostal church: Riverside.


Helen Stubbings

Office Administrator
Over the eight or so years Helen has been at College her role here has changed tremendously. Helen is now PA to the Executive Director, manages the office, looks after HR and Volunteers amongst many other jobs. Helen always does everything with a smile, and is willing to take as much time as you need, even though she is very busy.

Helen is married to Eric and they have one son. Helen is on the PCC at her village church. Her skills in catering have been very useful and appreciated in her role as a member of the social committee at College.


Kate Wiseman

Librarian B.A (Hons. Dunelm), M.Lib (Wales), MCLIP (Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals)
Kate has 15 years experience of working in Hertfordshire's public library service. She now enjoys being able to combine her library skills and Christian work as the College's librarian. In addition to her role as Librarian, Kate is a member of the e-Learning team and a tutor. She is married to John, and both of them share a love for Serbia where they are involved in short-term mission work. She enjoys being part of her church fellowship where she is Homegroup Leader and a member of the church worship group. In her spare time Kate is doing Ph.D research into the use of e-learning to deliver mission training.
