If you are heading out on a short duration cross-cultural mission trip of 2 weeks - 2 months then en route express is the perfect preparation for you.

What is en route express?
en route express explores the basics of cross-cultural mission service, helps you to make the most of your visit and lays a foundation for the future. It is the ideal start to your on-going journey in training and service.
Our vision is to develop the whole person and so the content of en route express is designed to engage participants’ ‘Head’ (knowledge), ‘Heart’ (character, attitudes, spirituality) and ‘Hands’ (skills). The material is written and facilitated by a training team that has current experience in integral mission.

How is en route express delivered?
There are two options for accessing en route express.
a) a 5-day residential course at allnations.
b) a 4-week interactive online course (approximately 5-7 hours of study per week).

What is the entry criteria?
There are no prior academic requirements for en route express. Those who are confident in expressing themselves in written English will benefit most from the course. All non-EU applicants who do not speak English as a first language must have an IELTS pass of 6.0, or the Cambridge Advanced at C grade or above.

What does the course cover?
En route express will address three key questions;

Why am I going? You will explore your expectations and motivations as well as your identity as God’s child.
What is mission? You will unpack integral mission, looking at proclamation, discipleship and social action, and explore how you fit into God’s big story of mission.
How can I work well with people from other cultures? You will learn about culture and worldview, practical issues of crossing cultures and working effectively in a multicultural team.

As well as seeking answers to these three question en route express will equip you to go well, stay well and return well and thus make the most of your visit.
