Arts and Mission go hand in hand
At allnations we have also spent the last 7 years developing our Arts programme. We recognise that the arts are a unique and essential part of the curriculum to teach skills, competences, flexibility, good communication and creativity all of which are important considerations for us in providing relevant mission training. We want to encourage our students to develop in their understanding of the beliefs and values of other cultures, and we believe the arts provide a gateway for missionaries to enter in to a dialogue with people of other cultures and communicate the gospel more effectively.
We now have a fully validated Arts Pathway on our undergraduate programme. This provides you with the opportunity to study a series Arts focused modules alongside your mission training, leading to a qualification in Biblical and Intercultural Studies with an Arts Pathway.
If you have a general interest in the Arts and mission, and appreciate art forms such as music, dance, performing arts, film and visual arts, and you want to learn how to cultivate your creative gifts for mission, this training is for you
What students have said:
- "If you are passionate about the arts and serious in understanding the essence of the arts in mission, this special course is designed for you. I enjoyed it so much and felt excited and amazed to see my own creativity expressed."
